Name

The Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Association (APA) shall be hereafter referred to as "the Association".

Objectives

  • The Association has been established to promote and encourage the international development of photochemistry and related subjects with special reference to Asian and Oceanian countries.
  • In particular, the aims to be pursued by the Association are:
    • Promotion of co-operation between the Association members in universities, research institutions and industries through international contacts and exchange of scientists.
    • Co-ordination of photochemical meetings in Asia and Oceania, including the Asian Photochemistry Conference.
    • Promotion of photochemical literature.
